By Will FeuerManufacturing-solutions provider Mayville Engineering said it has agreed to buy Mid-States Aluminum, which makes custom aluminum extrusions and fabrications, for about $96 million. The deal, expected to close during the third quarter, will accelerate Mayville Engineering's expansion into lightweight materials fabrication, a strategic priority for the company, Chief Executive Jag Reddy said.
