Workers from the Manila City Hall were seen evicting vendors and removing stalls from the underpass that connects the city hall and Intramuros. A revocation order from the Manila City Hall showed that Lagusnilad Underpass vendors do not have a permit and do not pay taxes to city hall. 3 which states that all stallholders shall secure necessary Mayor’s permit and pay the corresponding fees and taxes,” the order showed.
