West zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services Inc. said Thursday it will spend P378 million for its five-year sanitation program until 2022. Maynilad said of the total amount, P318 million would be used to purchase 56 vacuum truck units to offer septic tank cleaning services to more customers. Maynilad said the P378-million sanitation program was a part of the company’s overall P30.6-billion wastewater management program for the next five years. Maynilad is the largest private water concessionaire in the Philippines in terms of customer base. It is the agent and contractor of the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System for the west zone of the Greater Manila area.
