But as in previous U.S. "antitrust" moves to break up monopolies in the oil, steel, transport and retail sectors, business can also benefit from splitting up monopolies into smaller parts. U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren has been front and centre with her plan to break up the tech giants to help not just consumers but other businesses. One is that as global companies, Google and its ilk are no longer under the sway of any single government.
