CAIRO, 9 February 2021: Egyptian Mayar Sherif achieved an achievement for the first time in the history of Egypt, by winning a match in a Grand Slam tournament. Mayar won over the French world number 187 Chloe Paquette, to continue achieving all records in Egypt's history under her name. Mayar won 2-0, the first half ended with a 7-5 lead, only to return in the second half and win the same score.
