Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed his strong condemnation of the individuals responsible for targeting martyrs’ monuments and symbols of the state on May 9. In a tweet, he highlighted that the nation is currently observing Youm-i-Takreem Shuhada-i-Pakistan, a day dedicated to paying tribute to the country’s martyrs. The prime minister went on to emphasize that he does not view the tragic incidents of May 9 as a mere protest that turned violent. Also, during his visit to the Radio Pakistan building in Peshawar, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed his concern over the delayed payment of wages to the employees for the months of April and May. Furthermore, the prime minister highlighted the need for the nation to recognize that the culprits responsible for the attack were no different from terrorists.
