But that Scherzer will not return two days after his bullpen session should be no cause for concern. Erick Fedde will pitch Game 1 of Sunday’s doubleheader. Tanner Roark will pitch Game 2. That Fedde starts Sunday instead of Scherzer makes things easier on the Nationals rotation.
