Keiser is crowing that Brits have taken his advice to get out of sterling into Bitcoin. Brits no doubt are registering with the new exchange because of Brexit, but this doesn’t necessarily mean that they are dumping sterling in favor of Bitcoin. Or they might simply be transferring from other exchanges because the Jersey exchange is more convenient for them. The reality is that the Jersey exchange is having no impact whatsoever on the sterling/BTC price. It is far too volatile, and trading in the GBPBTC pair – even with the new Jersey exchange – is far too thin.
