GettyMax Holloway is hopeful that UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov will be watching when he faces Dustin Poirier in the main event of UFC 236. “Khabib said he wanted to fight me, but he wanted me to prove myself,” Holloway said at the UFC 236 press conference in early March. Holloway, who holds the UFC featherweight title, is moving up to lightweight to face Poirier. He has finishes in his four most recent outings, each of those bouts was for a UFC title.
