The Italian has been heavily linked with the job at Stamford Bridge, with Maurizio Sarri set to leave. On Thursday night Chelsea agreed a deal with Juve which will see Sarri return to his homeland - ironically as Allegri’s replacement. Speculation has linked Allegri with new jobs, both in the Premier League and elsewhere; he is reported to have turned down €10million-a-year deal to return to AC Milan. Allegri has largely kept his own counsel since the press conference announcing his Juve exit. But speaking at the Castello Sforzesco in Milan, Allegri confirmed his immediate future will be spent away from football.
