Sarri had been in conflict with officials throughout the match at Stamford Bridge in which Chelsea dropped crucial points. An FA statement read: “Maurizio Sarri has been charged with misconduct in relation to his behaviour in the 94th minute of Monday’s [22/04/2019] Premier League fixture between Chelsea and Burnley. Maurizio Sarri was furious with referee Kevin Friend“Maurizio’s very frustrated, he’s been sent off and I think he’s been offended as well,” he said. I think he’s been told something from their bench but don’t ask me exactly what.
