A press release issued on Saturday, detained the measures, including arrest and impending deportation. The press release noted that the individuals were detained by the appropriate authorities shortly after their unauthorized entry. Efforts to transfer the detainees back to Mali were unsuccessful, as Malian authorities declined to admit them, citing the lack of identity or travel documents proving their entry through Malian territory. Faced with this complication, Mauritanian authorities decided to transport the individuals to Nouakchott to arrange their deportation directly to Pakistan. The Pakistani consulate confirmed its involvement in the matter, stating that it had communicated with the families of the detained individuals in Pakistan.
