Pochettino was sacked by Levy 18 months ago after a five-year stint in north London, with the club appointing Jose Mourinho as his successor. After a spell out of football, Pochettino was appointed Thomas Tuchel’s replacement at former club PSG in January. Levy was widely criticised for sacking Pochettino in 2019 and the Spurs chairman has now confided in private that he regrets firing the Argentine. According to the Sun, Levy wants to reverse the ‘worst mistake of his careeer’ by reappointing Pochettino and the Argentine is open to returning.
