Mauricio Pochettino has declined the chance to become Everton’s next manager after they made an approach for him to take over from Marco Silva, reports have claimed. The Toffees finally swung the axe on the Portuguese yesterday with the side living dangerously in the relegation zone. Pochettino was sacked by Tottenham over two weeks ago and is now beginning his search for a new job. Everton sacked Marco Silva last night after the board held meetings at Finch Farm where they made the final decision on his future. "Everton Football Club can confirm that manager Marco Silva has left the Club," a statement from Everton read.
