Auston Matthews remains in “game-time” decision mode as far as his playing status goes. The Leafs’ star centre repeated that phrase again Friday, when asked if he will play in Saturday’s game in Montreal. “It will probably be a game-time decision, yes ...” Matthews, who is nursing a lower body injury. “I’m still taking it day to day, there’s no decision yet.”Matthews practised with the team Friday, his second full practice this week, but there’s no strong indication he will play Saturday, and end his four-game absence. “Your feel for everything is coming back, but I’m still a ways off from where I was at,” said Matthews, who has not played since Nov. 6.
