The extension is said to be worth $150 million over five seasons with $100 million guaranteed. It was bound to happen before fellow Super Bowl quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady receive their imminent extensions. It started with Jimmy Garoppolo signing a five-year, $137.5 million deal ($74.1 million guaranteed) in San Francisco back in March. Shortly after that, the Minnesota Vikings handed former Washington signal caller Kirk Cousins a fully-guaranteed three-year, $84 million contract. Given his advanced age, Brady is not looking at deal that will match the five years Garoppolo and Ryan received.
