Matiang’i visits major road blocks to check effectiveness in taming coronavirus spreadInterior Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang'i and Police boss Hillary MutyambaiFriday visited Koma and Athi River multi-agency road blocks in Machakos County and others in Isinya, Kiserian and Kibiko in Kajiado County. The officials wanted to see how effective the sites are in curbing the spread of the coronavirus disease. During the visit at Koma road block, the CS met and thanked Ms. Priscilla Kioko, a lawyer and a hotel operator in Tala town who had shown appreciation by providing food to the officers manning Koma road block for the last three weeks. Matiang’i thanked all government agencies deployed to control movement as an effort to help in the fight against the spread of Covid-19. During the visits, the CS was met by Machakos and Kajiado County security teams.
