PTI CM Akhilesh Yadav with Archana Dwivedi, wife of SP Mukul Dwivedi who was killed during clashes between police and encroachers at Jawahar Bagh in Mathura, Monday. PTIChief Minister Akhilesh Yadav Monday justified not ordering a CBI probe into the Mathura violence, which left 29 people including two policemen dead, saying a one-man judicial panel constituted by him will “will unearth the truth” and “stringent punishment” will be given to those who are found guilty. Terming it a “breach of trust”, he condemned a sting operation conducted by a television channel involving a few policemen in Mathura. “I have ordered a judicial inquiry since I have full faith in it and I feel, the findings (of the inquiry) would be true and factual,” Akhilesh said in Mathura.
