Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua (pictured) says he wasn’t immediately given reasons for his arrest. [File, Standard]Mathira Member of Parliament (MP) Rigathi Gachagua has been arrested. Rigathi Gachagua was seized from his Sagana home in Nyeri County. Rigathi Gachagua moved to court in February to stop the DCI from arresting him over allegations of fraud. The MPs claimed Gachagua was being targeted for siding with DP Ruto and leading the UDA Kiambaa by-elections.
