KUALA LUMPUR: Defence Minister designate Mohamad Sabu has stolen Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s thunder on social media. They overshadowed news of Anwar’s release on social networking sites. The World of Buzz’s compilation of the politician’s memes have been viewed more than 500,000 times. Deemed the “Rambo” of the opposition, Mat Sabu is famed for his public speaking skills and sense of humour. He served as a cook at the Kamunting detention centre, where more than 100 politicians, social activists and educationists were detained under the now-defunct Internal Security Act during Operasi Lalang in 1987.
