KUALA LUMPUR: The Education Ministry is still waiting for the final report on the recognition of the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC). Its minister Dr Maszlee Malik said the ministry had communicated with the Unified Examination Certificate task force (PPDUEC), and they were doing their best to finalise the report. The task force comprises task force chairman Eddin Khoo, Dong Zong deputy president Datuk Tan Yew Sing (who is also Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce president) and Muslim Islamic Youth Movement of Malaysia president Mohamad Raimi Abdul Rahim. Dr Maszlee said they had completed their meetings and the task force was wrapping up their findings. Asked to clarify on the engagement in Sabah and Sarawak, Dr Maszlee said: "As far as I am concerned, they are working 24/7.
