Masters champion Hideki Matsuyama and two-time Augusta winner Bubba Watson have withdrawn from the 149th Open Championship over Covid-19 concerns, organisers said on Sunday. "I'm feeling fine but haven't been able to practice in preparation for The Open," Matsuyama said in a statement. Watson withdrew after being identified as a close contact of someone who tested positive for Covid-19. "Like many of you, I look forward to watching the Open Championship on TV. The 149th Open Championship begins on Thursday at Royal St. George.
