Fast forward to this year and Massimo has struck again with his taxidermy rat entitled, Rat Blase. Of course, there's wordplay (an anagram of Art Basel" if you've not twigged) but this piece is more complicated and contemplative. Through the medium of the rat, Massimo wants to prompt big questions. I even remember seeing Vito Schnabel’s exhibition of The Bruce High Quality Foundation, The New Colossus and thinking how awesome would it be if they actually used a real rat.
