North End co-coach Michael Sheridan scored the winner for the visitors about 10 minutes from the end during a goalmouth scramble. ♦ The Palmerston North Marist women’s team maintained top spot in the Wellington W-League, thrashing Seatoun 8-0 at Memorial Park. In other results, Marist reserves beat Whanganui Athletic reserves 2-1 and North End reserves beat Massey reserves 2-1.
