Mass registration of firearms in the hands of Police Reservists NPRs and vetting kicks off in BaringMass registration of firearms in the hands of National Police Reservists (NPRs) and vetting has kicked off yesterday in Baringo South, Baringo County The exercise will see more than 450 NPRs being vetted in all the six Sub-Counties in a bid to weed out rogue officers accused of collaborating with armed criminals and also to know all the firearms in the hands of reservists in the region. According to assistant inspector General in charge of all NPRs in the country Robert Kitur, the exercise also targets to help the government to know the number of reservists deployed in each county and the amount of budgetary allocation for them to undergo a fresh training. 6 hours ago
