Mass Effect: Andromeda hits just after Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, a game which seems to have re-imagined open world gaming in a way that could upend the genre going forward. Open world games like to talk about size a lot. The biggest Mass Effect ever, X times bigger than X and X combined, etc. Mass Effect: Andromeda has more dialogue than any of the previous games by a mile, leaning on a breadth of story that Bioware hopes will lend depth to its world.
