Interest from Old Trafford has also emerged however with The Athletic reporting Mount is ‘leaning towards’ a move to United. The report adds talks between United and Chelsea are expected to begin in due course, with Mount’s other suitors aware of his current preference. Chelsea head to United for their penultimate game of the season on Thursday although Mount will not be involved as he continues his recovery from minor surgery.
