LEGAZPI CITY –– Masbate is expected to receive over 25,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccines to inoculate employees of various local governments in the province, the spokesperson of the Filminera Resources Corp (FRC) said Friday. He said FRC and PhilGold allocated P38 million for anti-COVID-19 health defenses for Masbate residents, including workers of the two mining firms operating in the town of Aroroy. She said P11.2 million of the fund was provided by FRC, P21.9 million by PhilGold, and P5 million by PhilGold’s CSR program. Aside from the purchase of COVID-19 vaccines, an ambulance, including its equipment, will be bought using the fund.
