Maryland forward Justin Jackson struggled offensively while battling a shoulder injury. (Patrick Semansky/Associated Press)Maryland sophomore forward Justin Jackson has a torn right labrum and will miss the remainder of the season, Terrapins Coach Mark Turgeon said Thursday. Jackson, who hasn’t played since a win over Ohio on Dec. 7, has missed Maryland’s past three games with what the program initially called a sore right shoulder. Turgeon said Jackson has been dealing with the shoulder injury all season, and the decision to shut him down was made this week after the team received a second medical opinion. But we just decided over Christmas that it wasn’t in the best interest of Justin,” Turgeon said.
