A spoonful (or even just a blink-and-you-missed-it appearance) of Meryl Streep makes the whimsical first full trailer for “Mary Poppins Returns” go down even easier. Disney has been teasing next chapter in the adventures of the umbrella clad nanny from the clouds for what feels like forever ― seriously, the first teaser dropped at the Oscars this year ― and now it’s almost here. The sequel to the classic 1964 film brings Poppins, played this time around by Emily Blunt, back into the lives of the Banks children, Michael (Ben Winshaw) and Jane (Emily Mortimer). Now, they’re all grown up, but still in need of her assistance and magic touch as their family mourns the loss of a loved one.
