Mary Anne Espina is one of the most active and versatile musicians in the country. Our parents had a huge collection of recordings from different genres — classical, Broadway, Disney, symphonic music, piano, opera and many more. As the years went by, my other siblings stopped their piano lessons as they found their niche in other forms of arts. But right from the beginning, I knew, and so did my family, that I will end up continuing piano lessons. Whether that is intentional or not, I think that is basically why one music piece may sound different even if performed by the same artist.
