NEW DELHI: Creta has been a runaway success for Hyundai in the Indian market since its 2015 launch. The competition in the compact SUV segment though has since heated up and Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza has been one of the foremost challengers to the Korean auto giant. That Maruti Suzuki also has an integral connect with most Indian car buyers has further helped the cause of Brezza. Little wonder then that 9,554 units of the car were sold in August as against 8,450 units of Creta. The car had outsold Creta in July as well.Vitara Brezza's lead over other vehicles in utility segments is even more daunting.
