Martha's Vineyard is asking for donations for migrants. Here's how you can help.

MARTHA'S VINEYARD — Island officials are asking for donations to local organizations to support the unexpected arrival of 50 migrants on Wednesday evening. Rep. Dylan Fernandes, D-Falmouth, also urged anyone who wants to support the community's efforts to donate to Martha's Vineyard Community Services, where the migrants arrived after walking from the Martha's Vineyard Airport on Wednesday, kickstarting the all-island support effort. Have questions about Martha's Vineyard? Ron DeSantis sent two planes full of migrants to the Vineyard as part of his "promise to drop off undocumented migrants in progressive states." Martha's Vineyard Community Services told a Times reporter on Wednesday night that, through an interpreter, the organization learned the migrants were put on a plane with nothing else but the brochure for the island's services center.
