But today’s event, a live Marshmello concert in Pleasant Park, was unlike any of those, and easily my favorite event Fortnite has ever done. Players could earn Marshmello gear for free in game. Epic literally disabled every other mode in the game to force people to attend the ten minute long concert at Pleasant Park. It was a level beyond just watching a performance on TV like the Super Bowl, though. Granted, you were just using your favorite Fortnite avatar, but still, it felt like you were a part of the event.
