Following serious incidents outside the Orange Vélodrome involving the Lyon team bus, a crisis meeting was held at which the visiting club stated their opposition to going ahead with the game in the circumstances. After discussions with Olympique de Marseille and the local authorities, a decision was therefore taken to not play the match which was scheduled to kick off at 20:45 local time (19:45 GMT). The Competitions Committee of the LFP will now decide on the next steps to be taken in line with the relevant article of the regulations.
