Mars Foods Plants Seeds Of Change In Chicago Public Schools

Mars foods is announcing today that they will be donating $500,000 to Chicago Public Schools (CPS) through their Seeds of Change Grant Program. “Chicago is the backyard of our business,” says Jaroslaw Swigulski, Regional President of Mars Foods North America; "Mars has a long and rich history in the Chicago area, but the food segment specifically moved to Chicago in 2017. The Eat What You Grow program was initially piloted in 2013 with eight schools in the Chicago area. Swigulski sees this partnership as a direct reflection of Mars foods’ mission: Better food today. Mars will announce the program today during a garden tour ceremony with Chicago Mayor Emmanuel at the Al Raby High School.
