Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb criticised the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), accusing it of perpetuating “state terrorism” by conducting raids at Punjab Assembly lawmaker Hamza Shehbaz’s residence in Model Town. Marriyum said, “NAB is continuing with its state terrorism in violation of the Lahore High Court order.”She also labeled the current accountability drive a bid to a ploy to distract people from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government’s incompetence. “This is no law, this is state terrorism to arrest people. Imran Khan is using NAB for state terrorism. Furthermore, the PML-N spokesperson rejected claims that Hamza’s guards resorted to violence during Friday’s raid.
