The state minister was responding to Imran Khan’s rhetoric at public rallies and said that instead of lying unabashedly, the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) chief should account for his lies in the Supreme Court and appear before the anti-terrorism court. Challenging the democratic credentials of Imran Khan, Marriyum said that in 2014 Imran tried to have the assemblies dissolved but returned after attacking the parliament. Aurangzeb asked Imran to unlock the KP Ehtesab Commission, answer the questions posed by Ayesha Gulalai and to apprise people of the fate of the Bank of Khyber scandal. In a stinging comment, Marriyum asked whether Imran did not have fear of God. Referring to the new wave of his public rallies, she asked, “Are they not a new instalment of the third sit-in?”
