A married college worker who described himself as a 'Jack-the-lad' and bragged 'I'm an awesome s**g' is now banned from working in education. The hearing was told Mr Tandy, who held a £36,000 management role, also boasted to astonished staff: 'I am an awesome s**g - my wife told me.' Mr Tandy said he had 'made mistakes along the way' but had 'acted professionally' for the majority of his employment. Mr Tandy, of Brynmawr, South Wales, was struck from the Educational Workforce Council register - and cannot apply to go back for another two years. 'Should Mr Tandy not make a successful application for eligibility for restoration to the Register after 16 January 2022, he will remain prohibited indefinitely.'
