The methodology takes into account the quality and volume of notices sent to these destinations. “Travelers’ Choice Awards for destinations rank major cities and islands that continue to deliver an outstanding experience and are appreciated by our global travel community,” says TripAdvisor vice president of global communications, Desiree Fish. Whereas tourists’ overall assessments tend to give a positive nod to Moroccan tourism, it is Marrakech which is often, and rightly, considered as the country’s ultimate touristic paradise that generally makes it to top global destinations for travelers.
