These are the reasons the #MeToo movement – including its role in the Patrick Brown scandal – is leaving me increasingly nervous. Concerned that vocal moral entrepreneurs may be taking us too far, even if they started out in the right direction. A woman on the receiving end of unwanted sexual advances doesn’t say “yes,” but somehow saying “GOD NO” is a bridge too far. But I’m not sure that’s what men are getting from #MeToo. In the case of Patrick Brown, his alleged behaviour sounds sleazy.
