It’s safe to assume Mark Zuckerberg and Sheryl Sandberg aren’t shaking in their boots. For another thing, there is nothing democratic or helpful to personal liberty about government banning the exchange of information. Our politicians’ pride was injured when Zuckerberg and Sandberg were no-shows at the very important committee meeting, and Zuck sending non-celeb representatives instead was deeply hurtful. It’s OK if Zimmer — who’s been complaining about Zuckerberg and Sandberg “blowing off an entire country of 36 million people” — needs a little cry. (Would it help put things in perspective for Zimmer to know that more than two billion people use Facebook?)
