It took Marlon Moraes 33 seconds to end Jimmie Rivera’s winning streak. Rivera had won 20 consecutive fights dating back to February 2009 when he stepped into the octagon to face Moraes in the main event of Friday’s UFC Fight Night 131. Less than a minute Into the fight he was standing in the octagon and asking referee Dan Miragliotta what happened. What happened was Moraes landed a perfectly timed kick to Rivera’s head that dropped him to the mat. UFC Fight Night 131 took place at Adirondack Bank Center in Utica, N.Y.Before the fight, Moraes said his focus was strictly on Rivera.
