MARLBOROUGH — The 37th annual Jim Forrest Memorial Road Race starts at 11 a.m. Sunday from the Wayside Athletic Club on Broadmeadow Street. Thrive Support & Advocacy Inc. is hosting the event. The Worcester- and Marlborough- based nonprofit provides support services, residential programs and recreational activities for people with developmental or intellectual disabilities and their families. “It’s not an area in our agency that gets much funding from the state,” Rose said. “It’s really easy to look back at the last 18 months or so and be pessimistic or frustrated,” he said.
