NEW DELHI: Shares of Pennar Engineered Building Systems (down 10.41 per cent), Vakrangee (down 10 per cent) and Metkore Alloys & Industries (down 9.68 per cent) cracked up to 10 per cent on NSE in morning trade on Tuesday amid huge sell-off in domestic as well as global markets.Shares of Rohit Ferro-Tech (down 9.59 per cent), JBM Auto (down 9.59 per cent), Cosmo Films (down 9.31 per cent) and PG Electroplast (down 7.50 per cent) also plunged up to 10 per cent on NSE.Benchmark indices nosedives on Tuesday in reaction to a steep fall seen on Wall Street in overnight trade.The magnitude of the drop was so big that over Rs 5,40,000 crore of investor wealth was wiped off within a few seconds into the trading. Sensex cracked over 1,250 points to a low of 33,482.81, before recovering a bit. The BSE Sensex index was 933 points down at 33,824 around 9:40 am (IST) with all components trading in the red. The Nifty50 index was 293 points down at 10,374 around the same time.Tata Motors, YES Bank, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank and State Bank of India were the top losers in the Sensex index.
