Mark Reuss named President of General Motors


General Motors has named Mark Reuss its new President, replacing Dan Amman who took over as CEO of its Cruise autonomous car subsidiary on Jan. 1. Reuss, 54, has spent his entire career at GM, most recently as Vice President in charge of both the automaker’s product development unit and Cadillac. Reuss becomes the 23rd president in GM history and follows in the footsteps of his father, Lloyd Ruess, who held the position from 1990 to 1992.
