SteelHouse is the upstart founded by Douglas to provide a platform solution for marketers and agencies that seeks to reinvent the way digital advertising is created, distributed and optimized. “We're adtech for the marketing team rather than adtech for the media buying team. The idea first came about when Douglas was the head of engineering at Rubicon Project, the publicly traded pioneering adtech company. About half the engineering team was building marketing and advertising technology that we were using at eHarmony for ourselves,” says Douglas.
