The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has asked the maritime ports to hoist local cautionary signal no. 3 as deep convection is taking place over North Bay of Bengal and adjoining coastal areas under the influence of a low. Squally weather is likely to affect the ports, North Bay and adjoining coastal areas, the BMD said on Sunday. Dhaka city recorded 15 millimetre rainfall from 12pm to 6pm. Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
