Marissa Lauren Smith and Glenn Martin Stanley Jr. were married May 19 at Holy Rosary Church in Washington. The bride, 31, is the director of corporate speechwriting for Hilton in McLean, Va. She graduated from George Washington University. She is a daughter of Marie B. Michener of Ivyland, Pa., and the late Paul E. Smith. The bride’s mother retired as a teacher at the Mill Creek Elementary School in Warrington, Pa. Her father, who worked in Philadelphia, was a training manager with Snap-on Tools, a maker of tools based in Kenosha, Wis.
