KOTA KINABALU: A man and a woman suspected of fish bombing were arrested were arrested and their catch of about 120kg seized on Saturday (May 25). He said the arrest was made during a special operation dubbed Ops Landai Khas following a tip-off. "Our men stopped the duo and found the fish worth about RM1,200 in the vehicle they were in," he said in a statement here on Sunday (May 26). ACP Mohamad said the vehicle, fish, a weighing machine and other items worth about RM16,700 were seized following their arrest. He warned the public against catching fish and other marine species using illegal methods such as fish-bombing saying their were making a concerted effort to stop such activities.
